Referenced samples
The referenced samples are marked with clips in the sample lists:
It means these are referenced samples from other projects. These samples are owned by other projects/organizations.
You can check the source project in the “Owner project” column:
You can add your own metadata properties to these samples and you can start your own analysis on these samples if you have any apps involved in your project.
If the owner deletes or changes these samples, the changes also affect the reference project.
If you use other projects’s samples as referenced samples, their metadata properties also will be “imported” to your project. The metadata of reference samples are marked in the column header with the “ref” label:
